Finding Ryuji’s Location in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Ryuji is one of the available Confidants in Persona 5, and you can spend time with him in the game to make him even more powerful and useful in combat. Before you can unlock him as a Confidant, however, you’ll need to unlock the first Palace of the game, and have him awaken to his Persona. After that, you’ll be able to start spending time with him.

Once you have those requirements out of the way, you can usually find Ryuji standing by the stairs outside your classroom. If Ryuji is available for the day, he’ll have a card icon above her head. If he’s not in the classroom, you can usually find him in the arcade building in Shibuya as well. Occasionally, he might send you an invitation to hang out, so be sure to check your text messages regularly.

Ryuji’s tarot type is the Chariot arcana, so remember to carry a Persona of the Chariot arcana before hanging out with him. This will increase the number of rank points you get with him, and help you rank up faster.
