Persona 5: How to Romance Haru Okumura

How to Romance Haru Okumura in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Unlike a fair amount of the confidants and romance options in Persona 5, Haru Okumura isn’t available to players until they progress up to 10/30 on the calendar. This means that by the time you actually unlock Okumura as a confidant you should have a lot of your stats upgraded, meaning this shouldn’t require nearly as much grinding as an early romance option would. To start, you will need to have your Proficiency at Rank 5, otherwise, you’ll be unable to begin her confidant quest which needs to be finished in order to unlock her as a romance option.

You will need to reach Rank 9 with Haru Okumura in order to actually unlock the dating dialogue sections. During your exchange with her you will be asked two questions, but how you answer the second one will determine if she decides to date you or not. Here are the two choices you will have:

  • “He saw us as good friends.” (Friends)
  • “I like you too, Haru.” (Romance)

After you tell Haru Okumura you like her then you won’t need to do anything else to initiate the love option. Just make sure to rank your Proficiency up if you do intend to make Haru Okumura all yours.
