How to Restore Health in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

As you make your way through the dangerous dungeons and Mementos of Persona 5, you’ll inevitably take damage from enemy attacks. If you want to keep going and survive the journey, you’ll need to restore your health. There are a couple of ways of going about this. First, you can simply hit the triangle button and head to the Item menu to use a restorative item. Your item will be used up, of course, but you can choose which character you want to use it on. If you have a Persona or party member with a healing spell like Dia, you can also head to the Skill menu and choose to use that instead. Keep in mind that this will consume SP.

Lastly, Persona 5 also provides players with a quick and convenient way to restore health without having to go into a menu. If you hit the square button, you’ll be able to use an Auto-Recovery function that makes use of whatever healing spells you have and restores the health of all your party members. This is great if you need to heal everyone quickly. However, SP will still be consumed by doing this.

If you’re out of SP and items, don’t forget that you can always leave the dungeon to rest and stock up on items before coming back again.
