Persona 5: How to Level Up Confidant Social Links

How to Level Up Your Social Links With Confidants in Persona 5

Recommended Videos

Persona 5’s most standout feature is by far the ability to forge bonds and strengthen social links as part of the story as well as a means to better yourself for the challenges you’ll face. Lovely metaphor. This time around, they’ll be called Confidants. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will wonder how it is exactly that they can do this! Well, the answer is luckily very similar to how it’s always been.

Just like in real life, you need to forge the bonds to strengthen your social links with your confidants by putting in the effort. In Persona 5, this means spending time with whoever you want to bond with, if you have the option to do so, that is. You won’t have this opportunity every chance you get, so it’s smart to zero in and focus when you have the chance to do so. You’ll know you can because they’ll either invite you (either in person or through IM) or they will have a sort of tag icon above their head, letting you know you can hang out.

When you’re trying to bolster these relationships, you can check the status by hitting triangle to bring up the menu and heading to the Confidants option.
