How to Get All Unlockables in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Because Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is essentially a re-release of the original game on the Wii U, players will have access to majority of the content right from the start. All of the DLC previously released for the Wii U version are also immediately available. This means that you can play as the DLC characters like Isabelle and Link whenever you want, without any prerequisites. However, that’s not to say that you won’t still have a few other cosmetic items that you can work for. We’ve listed all of the available unlockables that you can get in the game, along with their requirements down below.
Karts and parts: You have access to a few customization parts from the start. However, you can unlock extra parts for every 50 coins you collect in a race.
Gold parts: All you have to do is get a star rank in every cup in Mirror mode, beat the staff ghosts in every 150cc time trial, and collect 10,000 coins in total. Easy.
Gold Mario: Finish first in every 200cc race available in the game.
