Little Nightmares: How to Use the Lighter

How to Use the Lighter in Little Nightmares

Recommended Videos

While Six doesn’t have any weapons at her disposal in Little Nightmares, she does have her trusty lighter. Considering the Maw is a pretty dark place, this will come in particularly handy when trying to navigate the maze of corridors and rooms that await you in Little Nightmares.

To use the lighter in Little Nightmares, all you need to do is either press B/ Circle or click in the right stick (R3). This will see Six spark the lighter, allowing you to make your way through the darkness. It’s worth noting that the lighter isn’t just useful for illuminating the path, though. It can also be used to light the lanterns you see along the way. These act as the game’s checkpoint system, so be sure to light them whenever you can for frequent respawn points. To do this, simply press B/ Circle to spark the light and then walk up to one of the lanterns. After a while, the lantern will ignite and will save you from having to repeat lengthy chunks of platforming if you die.

That’s all there really is to know about using this handy tool in Little Nightmares. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check back with Twinfinite.
