Layton’s Mystery Journey follows the story of new protagonist Katrielle, who is the daughter of Hershel Layton. The professor himself mysteriously vanished, so Katrielle became a detective to try to track him down. The game takes place in London, where she takes on a variety of cases to solve. She also has an assistant named Sharo, who also happens to be a talking dog.

Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy is set to be released for mobile devices on July 20, and for 3DS some time this fall.
