Who to Give Thanos to in Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode One
During episode one of Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy series, the Guardians will successfully defeat Thanos and somehow drag his body back to the ship. While the specifics aren’t important, what is important is the decision you’ll have to make later in the game.
You see, after spending the night celebrating your victory over Thanos and retrieving the artifact, the group has managed to run up a pretty hefty bar tab. To pay it off, Rocket suggests that you sell Thanos’ body to the Collector who would pay incredibly well to add him to the collection. Gamora, however, believes that Thanos should be handed over to the Nova Corp who can then keep Thanos locked away safely. On top of that, you’ll be able to claim the bounty that was placed on Thanos’ head by Nova Corp a good while ago, so you won’t miss out on the funding that way.
If you’re unsure of who to give Thanos to, let us help you. Ultimately, your decision doesn’t change the way the rest of Guardians of the Galaxy episode one plays out. If you choose to sell Thanos to the Collector, you’ll be given the cash at that very moment, however, you’ll get ambushed by Hala the Accuser and her people.
If you hand Thanos’ body over to Nova Corps, you’ll receive the bounty in installments in six to 12 months time, but you’ll know that the body is locked safely away. You’ll also form an alliance with the Nova Corps, which could come in handy in future episodes. Oh, and Hala will ambush you if you make this decision, too.
Ultimately, who you hand him over to doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference to the way the rest of episode one of Guardians of the Galaxy plays out. However, it’s worth noting that the huge amount of units that the Collector offers you, or the alliance with the Nova Corps could be incredibly helpful in a future episode.
Personally, we chose to side with the Nova Corps. Knowing that the giant, purple tyrant was locked away for good and having an alliance with them seemed like the safer option to take. Plus, you’ll still get the money, even if it is quite a way down the line.
