Great Fairy Cotera – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

There are several very important NPCs in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. One of them is the Great Fairy Cotera – a large powerful fairy whose power you’ll want to reawaken so that you can upgrade your armor and outfits. Of course, before you can reawaken her powers, you must first find the Great Fairy.

Greaty Fairy Cotera is located up the hill from Tal’oh Neag Shrine, which is located in Kakariko Village (your next stop after completing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s first area). Head into the forest and look for a wide clearing where you’ll find her in a large flower pod just sitting there and waiting for you. For 100 Rupees the Great Fairy will regain her abilities, which allows her to upgrade your armor as long as you have the necessary resources (which are usually monster parts).  After two upgrades, your upgraded outfit will gain a new, useful perk.
