Zelda Breath of the Wild: How to Crouch

How to Crouch – Zelda Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

One of the new mechanics in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is the ability to crouch, which can be used to either hide from enemies or reach smaller areas. This move can be performed by clicking in the left stick, which will allow Link to crouch instantly. After you enter this mode, you’ll be able to hide and make yourself harder to detect. Crouching is a fantastic way to minimize risk when you are unsure about an enemy monster camp or a new beast that is roaming the land. Being able to make yourself harder to spot can easily save your life in Breath of the Wild.

Remember when you are scouting a camp, there is usually always an alternative way to dispatch the Bokoblins. Make sure to keep out of sight, as they will usually not have their weapons on them, meaning it’s very easy to get the drop on these overly cheerful enemies. After all, nothing ruins a party better then sneaking behind them and shoving a massive boulder down a ledge into a pile of explosive barrels.

Now that you know how to crouch, be sure to check our ever-growing Zelda Breath of the Wild wiki guide, filled with tips, walkthroughs, and more.
