Best Classes for Multiplayer in Mass Effect: Andromeda

If offense and DPS aren’t really your thing, and you’d like to take on a more supportive role in Mass Effect: Andromeda’s multiplayer instead, consider these classes.

Adept: The Adept is the best class for Biotic lovers, and it’s great for harassing enemies and taking them out of cover. Singularity sucks in unarmored foes into a Biotic field, where they’ll become easy targets for you and your squad. Pull helps to grab enemies out of cover, leaving them exposed to team fire. Your gun damage isn’t as impressive with the Adept, but the ability to break enemy formation will be invaluable to your team.

Engineer: When you’re up against beefy shielded enemies, the Engineer is probably your best bet for weakening and taking them down. While the Soldier is capable of stunning enemies with Concussive Shot and opening them to attack for a short period of time, an Engineer can literally melt shields. Overload will stun any shielded enemy, and you can quickly follow up with Cryo Beam or Assault Turret to destroy enemy defenses.

Sentinel: The Sentinel is a well-rounded class that dabbles in Tech, Biotics, and dishes out decent firearm damage at the same time. However, the Barricade ability is what you really want from your Sentinel. Barricade provides cover for your teammates, boosts attack power, and increases shield regen speed. The Sentinel’s Throw ability is also incredibly useful for pushing enemies away, giving your team a little bit of breathing space to work with.
