Recommended Videos

Avela is an Angaran female that you can romance in Mass Effect: Andromeda. However, she’s only available as a romance option to male characters. You’ll be able to pursue a relationship with her once you arrive at Aya. Head down to the docks area and you’ll find her and initiate a side quest. When talking to her for the first time, make sure to choose all the heart-shaped dialogue options in order to advance your relationship status.

Progress through her quest line until you unlock the mission ‘Forgotten History.’ When speaking with Avela throughout the course of this mission, choose the following dialogue options:

  • I did it for you.
  • You got it.
  • Not everything, thanks to you.
  • Hope it helps my chances.

After this, continue progressing through the game as usual until you receive an email from Avela, asking you to meet with her. Head back to Aya and find her in front of the Avela. When speaking with her, you’ll get the option to go in for a kiss, thus cementing your committed relationship with her.
