Zelda Breath of the Wild: How to Save

How to Save – The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Recommended Videos

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is not a small game by any means. It will be impossible to beat the game in one sitdown, and even if it were, you’d probably die a lot because the game is definitely challenging. This is why a save system exists, so you can record your progress and pick up the fight against evil another time. Thankfully, saving in Breath of the Wild is very easy.

In order to save your game you’re going to have to pause by hitting the Plus Sign button on the controller. This will take you to the system screen where you’ll have an option to Save. Simply select that option, confirm, and you’re all set. You can now safely leave Hyrule with the knowledge that you can pick back up right where you left off. You’ll want to save often, too, because some shrines, dungeons, and enemies are tough, so you’ll need to retry some of the a few times.

Now that you know how to save your game, make sure to check in with our growing Breath of the Wild Wiki for more tips and guides.
