Ghost Recon Wildlands: How to Fix Character Creation Bug

Character Creation Bug – Ghost Recon Wildlands

While Ghost Recon Wildlands has a huge world with plenty of bad guys to be shooting, one of the first things that players will need to do is create their character. Unfortunately, it seems like there’s a character creation bug which makes creating a character you’ll be happy with highly unlikely.

The character creation bug in Ghost Recon Wildlands basically puts your character behind the menus on the left-hand side. These are where you’ll choose all of the different options and areas of your character that you want to change. For some reason, no matter what you try, you just can’t seem to get the character to move into the center of the screen. As such, you’re completely blind with regards to how your character is looking.

In order to fix it, try closing the game on your Xbox One, PS4, or PC, and then reopening it. Failing this, you can just proceed and accept the character that you make, no matter what they look like. It’s not ideal, especially for those who love pouring time into this kind of feature, but it doesn’t look like there’s any other proper workaround just yet. Other than that, it’s likely we’ll just have to wait for Ubisoft to update Ghost Recon Wildlands to remove this character creation bug. With there being numerous reports from players of this bug occurring, hopefully it shouldn’t be too long until Ubisoft manages to get it sorted.

If we find any other ways to resolve this issue, however, we’ll be sure to let you know. For more tips, tricks, and information on Ghost Recon Wildlands, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
