In space, no one can hear you eat popcorn.
Bethesda and Arkane’s Prey is a sci-fi reboot of the 2007 title. Players take on the role of Morgan Yu, stuck on the Talos-I space station as aliens known as the Typhon show up and start ruining things. While the game is a little over a month away from release, there is a film festival coming up that’ll give you an idea of what movies influenced the game.
Starting Apr. 4-27, the Alamo Drafthouse will be screening a quartet of movies said to have inspired the direction of the game. There’s Duncan Jones’ Moon, Tom Cruise’s Edge of Tomorrow, Total Recall, and the original Matrix. If you want, you can either marathon all four films, or just choose to see which of them you want. Tickets to all four of the screenings will net you this wicked Prey poster done by Mondo’s Tomer Hanuka, which you can see down below.
Prey releases on May 5 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Go here to find a theater location near you.
