In one of the best Easter eggs in gaming, Zelda: Breath of the Wild players have found a way to exploit the humble chicken as a battle companion.
There have been lots of Zelda games to include the “Cucco’s revenge squad” feature, and Breath of the Wild is no different. If Link attacks a Cucco (the Zelda universe name for a chicken) enough times, then a flock of avenging Cuccos will appear and swarm around him, pecking him to death.
Some players have worked out that, in Breath of the Wild, there is a new spin on this age-old mechanic: if you hold a chicken above your head and get attacked by an enemy, then they will count as the attacker.
This means a flock of furious Cuccos will descend upon your foe and peck at them relentlessly.

Breath of the Wild excels in its use of inter connected systems, a web of different rules that work together in unexpected ways. What else is there yet to be uncovered?
