A teaser posted on the Stranger Things Facebook page confirms that the hit series will return to Netflix for its second season somewhere in 2017.
The clip is merely 53 seconds long and features the series’ neon-retro introduction with some random text floating across the screen that seems to either recap the passed season or foreshadow what is to come.
Season 2 of Stranger Things will take place in the fall of 1984, one year after the events of the first season. The last episode of Season 1 provided viewers with plenty of answers and conclusions whilst raising some questions of its own that will likely play a larger role in the upcoming season. We won’t spoil it here for those who haven’t seen it yet, yet we highly recommend you do so.
Expect more information on Stranger Things: Season 2 to hit the web in the following months. In the meantime, one can always rewatch the first season to maybe catch up on some missed hints and hidden secrets.
