HOW TO EVOLVE EEVEE INTO UMBREON – POKEMON GO

Recommended Videos

The day has finally arrived! 80 new Pokemon from generation 2 have been added into Pokemon GO and the update is rolling out across the world now.

The new Pokemon include new Eevee evolutions for you to attempt to get. As was the case with generation one Eevee evolutions (Jolteon, Vaporeon, and Flareon), you can call your Eevee a specific name that ensures your evolution will be the one you are hoping for.

To evolve your Eevee in Umbreon in Pokemon GO, you need to name your Eevee ‘Tamao’ before you evolve. Once you have done so, press evolve and your Eevee will turn into Umbreon.

The other way of getting this Pokemon when evolving your Eevee is to simply press evolve and hope that the result is Umbreon. It is all about luck and you simply have to keep your fingers crossed. It would be best to go with the first option to be certain of what your Eevee will become.

In the Pokemon games, players would get Umbreon by bonding with their Eevee then evolving it at night. The Pokemon wielded dark-type attacks, including Pursuit, Feint Attack, and Assurance.

Now that you know how to evolve you Eevee into Umbreon, be sure to check our Pokemon GO wiki guide for more tips, tricks, and guides.
