It beat a Monster Hunter!
The release of NieR: Automata has been slowly creeping up this year, however it looks as though fans everywhere are waiting on the edge of their seats for the release. Look no further than Amazon Japan for proof of this excitement, as the game has officially hit #1 on the list of best sellers. Going so far as to beat out Nioh, Monster Hunter XX, and even The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the hype for NieR: Automata seems to be absolutely incredible.
After seeing the game hit such a popular spot, fans of the game immediately flocked to Twitter where they quickly congratulated the team on the accomplishment. Being overwhelmed by all the positive attention, the game’s director, Taro Yoko, kindly thanked the fans on behalf of himself and the team with a tweet of his own. It really is fantastic to see such huge gathering of people enthusiastic for the game collectively support the team creating it.
NieR: Automata has seen a large surge of global fan anticipation after the game’s very successful recent demo release. It is set to release on March 7 of this year (February 23 for Japan) for both PS4 and PC.
