NieR: Automata Director Yoko Taro Announces Pre-Order T-Shirt While Rolling On the Floor

NieR: Automata t-shirt!

Yoko Taro really knows how to leave an impression, as we can clearly see in this new video announcing an exclusive NieR: Automata t-shirt for those who pre-order the game. You can check out the video down below.

In the video, gameplay designer Taura Takahisa is seen wearing the t-shirt before Taro proceeds to manhandle the poor man. The video then cuts to a shot of Taro rolling around on the ground while holding the t-shirt up in excitement.

In all seriousness, though, the t-shirt does look pretty nice. It’s a plain black shirt with a print of Emil’s head in the middle. Emil has become quite an iconic character for the NIER series because of his unique look and the role that he played in the first game. We got a glimpse of his head in previously released footage for Automata, but it’s still unclear how involved he will be in the sequel.

NieR: Automata is set to be released for the PS4 on March 7. A PC release has also been announced for 2017.
