Horizon Zero Dawn: How to Change Weapons

How to Change Weapons – Horizon Zero Dawn

Recommended Videos

Aloy has a number of different weapons at her disposal in Horizon Zero Dawn. While her bow and arrows are your best way of taking down most robo dinosaurs and dealing out damage, other machines will require you to use different weapons in a more strategic manner. For those times, here’s how to change weapons in Horizon Zero Dawn.

All you have to do is press and hold down the L1 button on your DualShock 4. This will bring up Horizon Zero Dawn’s weapon wheel. From here, you can craft extra ammo, and select one of four weapons. Simply move the right stick to highlight the weapon you want to change to and let go of the L1 button.

If you need to change to a weapon that you haven’t assigned to your weapon wheel, open the menu with the touchpad and scroll over to the inventory tab. From here, open your weapons inventory and select the weapon you want to use. You’ll now need to assign it to one of the directions of your weapon wheel, removing the one you already had assigned. Don’t worry, though, you can always change back whenever you want.

That’s all you need to know to change weapons in Horizon Zero Dawn. For more tips, tricks, and guides for the game, be sure to check out our wiki guide.
