Halo Wars 2: How to Get All Achievements

  • Comrades in Arms (20 G) – Earn a gold medal on any mission (except Prologue) in Co-op on Legendary. With two players, you should be able to get this one quickly.
  • A Little Bit Extra (10 G) – Complete half of the Campaign bonus objectives. Easy to get, just make sure you’re completing all of the optional objectives that pop up during missions. You can play through on Easy to get these, and check them by holding LB.
  • A Lot Extra (20 G) – Complete all the campaign bonus objectives. Again, you can do this on Easy.
  • Alas, Poor Yorick! (10 G) – Collect a Skull. This will happen at some point no matter what. As long as you complete every bonus objective in the campaign, you’ll unlock all the skulls.
  • Morbid Curiosities (20 G) – Collect half of the Skulls.
  • Collecting a Dream (30 G) – Collect all the Skulls.
  • The Scrappy Six (20 G) – Complete a matchmade multiplayer match as each of the starting six leaders. Simple enough, just play six matches and choose a different leader each time.
  • First Steps (10 G) – Complete a matchmade multiplayer match.
  • Natural Intelligence (10 G) – Win a Skirmish Match against only AI opponents (one or more). You can select Skirmish from the main menu, and it’s easy to beat an AI opponent on lower difficulties.
  • Two Heads Are Better Than None (10 G) – Win a Skirmish Match with a friend against only AI opponents (two or more). Same menu, just play with a buddy.
  • You’ve Got a Case of the Birley (20 G) – In a Skirmish Match against Legendary AI, recycle your base in the first five minutes and then win. This’ll be one of the more difficult ones in Halo Wars 2, but you can get it done if you’re quick enough. You can recycle your base immediately, and then collect some supply crates and build another. You can also bring a friend along to help.
  • The Rank and File (10 G) – Recruit or construct one of each UNSC unit in Multiplayer or Skirmish (Launch units only). Easy to get, just build one of each unit as you play.
  • The Tribe (10 G) – Recruit or construct one of each Banished unit in Multiplayer or Skirmish (Launch units only). Same as above.
  • Trash Compactor (20 G) – Destroy 100 Vehicles with Anti-Vehicle Units (Multiplayer, Skirmish, or Blitz). You’ll get this one eventually. Just make sure to use enough of the Cyclops for the UNSC or Hunters for the Banished in any mode.
  • Flyswatter (20 G) – Destroy 100 Air Units with Anti-Air Units (Multiplayer, Skirmish, or Blitz). Same as above, you’ll just need to use enough Wolverines for the UNSC or Reapers for the Banished.
  • Meat Grinder (20 G) – Kill 100 Infantry with Anti-Infantry Units (Multiplayer, Skirmish or Blitz). Same as above, you can use Hellbringers or Snipers for the UNSC or Suicide Grunts and and Elite Rangers for the Banished.
  • Spare Change (10 G) – Spend five Leader Points in Multiplayer or Skirmish. This stacks between matches. You can use leader points by pulling the left trigger and clicking A to buy a power.
  • Big Spender (30 G) – Spend 100 Leader Points in Multiplayer or Skirmish. Play enough matches and you’ll grab this one.
  • Space Healer (30 G) – Cast 100 healing Leader Powers (Multiplayer, Skirmish, or Blitz). Almost every Leader has a healing power, just use it enough times across matches.
  • Overkill (30 G) – Destroy 500 units with Leader Powers (Multiplayer, Skirmish, or Blitz). This is easy enough to get as well, but will take a while. Playing offensive leaders like Cutter or Decimus will help you complete this one quickly.
  • The Hand That Feeds (20 G) – Kill a unit owned by a developer or someone who has this achievement. Unfortunately, this is probably going to be the most difficult achievement in the game. There’s not really a good way to set up a match with a developer or someone that has this. One option is to take a look at the official Halo Waypoint forums and see if anyone is looking to get this.
  • Making the Most of the Day (10 G) – Complete 3 Daily Challenges in one day. You can see Daily Challenges from the multiplayer menu.
  • A Strong Showing For the Week (10 G) – Complete a set of three Weekly Challenges. In the challenge section, you’ll see Weekly Challenges, so just complete a set in any given week.
  • Short-Term Commitment (20 G) – Complete at least one Weekly Challenge day for a week. Obviously, just play every day and complete at least one challenge.
  • Long-Term Commitment (30 G) – Complete at least one Weekly Challenge each week for a month. You’ll need to sign on every week for a month, and complete at least one of the challenges listed.
  • Duellist (10 G) – Win your first Blitz match. Blitz is separate from multiplayer and has its own menu from the main menu.
  • Ante-Up (10 G) – Complete the Blitz tutorial. This can also be accessed while the game installs or from the tutorial menu.
  • Card Shark (20 G) – Plat 25 matches of Blitz.
  • Full House (10 G) – Play Blitz as each of the six starting leaders.
  • All or Nothing (10 G) – Play all the cards in your deck at least once in a single Blitz match. This might be a little tricky, but in a Blitz match you’ll need to focus on getting each and every piece of energy that drops onto the field.
  • Stacked the Chips (10 G) – Gather 150 energy crates over any number of matches. Energy crates are the small glowing canisters that you see across the map that units can pick up.
  • Jackpot (40 G) – Play 777 total cards over any number of matches. This will definitely take a while, but play enough Blitz and you’ll get there.
  • Firefighter (10 G) – Beat wave 10 in Blitz Firefight. Blitz Firefight can be accessed through the Blitz menu on the right side. Reaching wave 10 isn’t difficult and you can also team up with a friend.
  • It Just Keeps Going (30 G) – Beat wave 25 in Blitz Firefight. This one will be a bit trickier, so you may want to team up with a friend for it.
  • On Fire (20 G) – Score 500,000 points in a single Blitz Firefight. Again, it may be easier to team up with an ally, as Firefight keeps going until you lose. Just make sure to pick up those Energy Crates.
  • Paint it Red (10 G) – Achieve the highest possible kill-streak in any Blitz mode (Blitz or Firefight). This is most easily done in Firefight as it goes until you’re defeated. Bring a friend along and just focus on killing enemies as quickly as you can. You should be able to nab it eventually.
