Halo Wars 2: How to Get Phoenix Logs and What They Do

Phoenix Logs – Halo Wars 2

Recommended Videos

Halo Wars 2’s campaign takes you across 12 different missions that each have special objectives. There are a number of optional objectives and task to complete, as well as a collectible known as Phoenix Logs. There are 24 of these items in total to unlock across the entire campaign.

Phoenix Logs unlock extra text entries in the Campaign Logs section of the menu, providing you more info on the world and story of Halo Wars 2. These will be things like logs from a researcher, communications on the rise of Atriox, or other bits of lore. Most Phoenix Logs will be given to you automatically just by beating campaign missions and completing main objectives. There are, however, a few that you’ll have to go off the beaten path to find. Some you’ll find just lying on the ground, others you’ll get after completing an optional objective. It isn’t terribly hard to get all 24 logs, if you plan on trying to complete all objectives in each mission. Just make sure to poke around the maps and make sure you get every one.

Make sure to read some of the other entries in the campaign logs sections as well, as they’ll give you more info on characters, buildings, units, and more.
