Unless you are a very skilled player or using a big hero that can knock down opponents like the Shugoki, fighting more than one opponent at a time is exceedingly dangerous. Not only can they force you into a corner, but if you’re hit the duo can easily stun lock you with Light Attacks until you die. If you round the corner and see two other combatants staring at you, try to escape before they can engage. Every death counts in For Honor, so don’t fret if you need to run and find help with other allies roaming the battlefield.
Another time to book it is when you are playing domination and your health is starting to get dangerously low. If you’ve just finished off a fight and are staring at a mostly depleted health bar, then you might want to run for an objective.
