Duel Swords – Fire Emblem Heroes
Fire Emblem Heroes features quite a few different modes to play around in, one of which is Arena Duels. These battles allow you to square off against a pre-selected team from another player in a PvP battle, although the team is controlled by AI. Winning battles will net you points that compile over each “season” in the arena. At the end of the season you’ll be judged on your points, and can receive a sizable amount of Hero Feathers or other items as a reward.
In order to compete in the Arena in Fire Emblem Heroes, you’re going to need Duel Swords. If you look at the top of the screen you’ll see a gauge with three Duel Swords, this is your basic stock and each time you duel it’ll deplete by one. There are two ways to restore your Duel Swords. One is simply by waiting, as all three swords will replenish every day at 12:00 a.m. The other way is by using a Dueling Crest to restore them, which can be bought with real money or redeemed with Platinum Points through My Nintendo Rewards.
The Arena is another way to train up your characters and earn some nice rewards in the process. You may as well jump in there each day, as you have three Duel Swords to burn.
