What’s a God to a King?
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man Homecoming may be the next movies to come out from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that hasn’t stopped the hype building for Black Panther and Thor Ragnarok. A video feature for Doctor Strange, which released on digital today, has concept art for both upcoming films, and offer an idea of what to expect when they release.
Thor Ragnarok’s concept art is arguably the most action packed of the two films. Being imprisoned and without his trusty hammer Mjolnir, the God of Thunder must team up with the Hulk to stop the destruction of Asgard at the hands of Hela. But first, he’ll have to fight the Big Green Giant, who’s taken to using melee weapons himself. And then there’s his half-brother Loki, who will also be aiding him in the fight against Hela. Black Panther’s concept art, meanwhile, shows T’Challa wandering the lands of his technologically advanced home Wakanda and looking quite intimidating.
Thor Ragnarok storms to theaters on Nov. 3, while Black Panther arrives Feb. 16, 2018.
