Yakuza 0: How to Sprint and Run Faster

How to Sprint – Yakuza 0

Recommended Videos

Yakuza 0 lets you explore Tokyo’s districts for some on-foot sightseeing. You will be able to go through some beautiful spots, hustling and bustling with life. Since there are tons of alleys, shops, and people to beat up, you’re naturally going to spend a lot of time walking around. But why walk when you can run, right? Exactly.

If you’re in a hurry or just hate how slow Kiryu moves by default, you can sprint! Hold X while running and Kiryu will be full speed ahead. He won’t be able to run like this forever, as you’ll see if you do it long enough. Poor Yakuza needs to take it a bit easy before he reaches his limit and needs to take a breather. However, this really won’t take that long to get his stamina back up, and he’ll be hauling butt in no time again. If you wanted to walk, you could hold R1 to force him to no matter how much you move the control stick to make him jog, too.

Sprinting not only gets you places faster, it also allows you to outrun a fight and get a big running attack in. Keep this in mind while playing! And for more Yakuza 0 help, be sure to check back to Twinfinite for new guides and tips.
