Tales of Berseria: How to Get Gald (Money) Fast

Gald – Tales of Berseria

Gald is the currency that you’ll be using for just about everything in Tales of Berseria. You’ll need it to purchase recovery items and equipment, enhance your equipment, and stay the night at inns. Luckily, there’s a few different easy ways to get Gald.

First off, the easiest way of earning it is by battling enemies. Each battle will reward you with an amount of Gald, and of course, that amount will increase the further you get in the game and the tougher enemies get. This is going to be your primary source of income, as you’ll be battling quite a few enemies simply as you go through the story. There’s also a good chance you’ll find extra Gald in treasure chests you open, so make sure to be on the hunt for those in each area.

The other way to supplement your Gald income is by selling unnecessary items that you pick up. You can, of course, sell surplus equipment, although you’re better off dismantling these for enhancing materials. The better option is to sell the Salvaged Items you pick up.

You’ll notice a ton of shining items on the ground in Tales of Berseria, and most of these are Salvaged Items. These are items you don’t really need to hold onto and can sell for pure profit, they’re also incredibly plentiful in the world. Many of these only fetch a small price, but once you have 90 or so in your inventory, it’s a solid way to get Gald. Make sure to pick up everything you can, and sell what you don’t need. Sending ships out on Expeditions from the main menu can also yield some extra items.

One final way to earn Gald, is by taking on Code Red Hunts. These are given by the Blood Wings in Taverns, or you can simply find the monsters out in the wild and eliminate them. They’ll appear as massive monsters with a dark red aura around them, and they’re a bit tougher than your usual baddie. Take one down and report to the Blood Wings, and you’ll be rewarded with a few thousand Gald.
