How Long It Is – Tales of Berseria
Tales of Berseria is the latest entry in the long-running JRPG series, and as you might expect it’s going to take you a while to complete. Just running through the main story is going to take you about 55-60 hours, depending, of course, on how much you explore and battle.
Berseria’s main story is a little bit longer than recent Tales titles, as the last few entries have clocked in at shorter completion times. Tales of Zestiria took around 40 hours, Tales of Xillia took about 35 hours, and Tales of Xillia 2 took around 32 hours. In Berseria, you play as Velvet Crowe, a young girl who’s entire life is changed after everything she knows is taken from her. Velvet turns into a daemon hellbent on revenge and sets out on a journey to kill the man that took away everything she loved.
Of course, in addition to the main story, there are also a host of optional activities to complete. There are sidequests, minigames, hidden areas and items, and optional bosses. All of these extras can easily add on 30+ more hours to your game, making how long you spend with it closer to 100 hours if you want to complete everything.
