Resident Evil 7: How to Reload

How to Reload – Resident Evil 7

Recommended Videos

Resident Evil 7 is now out, and players will be busy uncovering all of the horrors that await them at the Baker estate. Of course, with this being an RE game, you’re going to find yourself coming face to face with some pretty nasty and violent creatures. Whether you’re taking enemies down with a pistol or a grenade launcher, there’s always going to be times that you need to reload your weapon.

Reloading in the game is performed easily by simply pressing Square on PS4 or the X button on Xbox One. You should now see Ethan reach for another clip and reload your weapon in. You don’t necessarily have to wait until your weapon is completely out of ammo, either. If you’ve got an opportune moment to reload midway through a clip, go ahead and do it. Timing your reloads is important if you’re going to make it through some of the tougher stages of the game.

It’s worth noting that the times vary in Resident Evil 7 by weapon type. As such, it’s a good idea to reload when enemies are stunned, or you’ve got plenty of space between you and them.

That’s all there is to reloading your weapon in Resident Evil 7. For more tips, tricks, and information on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki guide.
