The news was revealed in a tweet sent by FDG Entertainment in response to a question posed by a fan. They asked whether FDG can confirm that Oceanhorn will be coming to the Switch after rumors suggested that it was coming to a Nintendo console – either the Switch or Wii U. There was no comment on whether Monster of Uncharted Seas’ sequel, Knights of the Lost Realm, will be coming to Switch. So far, it has only been confirmed for release on PC and iOS devices.

Comparisons have been made with the Legend of Zelda series since Oceanhorn first released for mobile in 2013. It came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year but will rival the new Legend of Zelda game, Breath of the Wild, when Nintendo’s new console releases in March. Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas follows a boy’s quest through a labyrinth of islands on his search for his missing father.

It hasn’t been revealed when, but Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas will be coming to Nintendo Switch sometime soon.
