Nintendo NY is the first and only store confirmed to be taking Nintendo Switch pre-orders. If the launch of the NES Classic Edition is any indication of how Nintendo handles stocking its new products, expect to show up a lot earlier than 9 am.
Nintendo is livestreaming a presentation for the Nintendo Switch this Thursday, Jan. 12 at 11 pm ET/8 pm PT. Price, release date, and a line-up of launch games are expected to be announced.
The store is also hosting an “exclusive viewing” of the Nintendo Switch presentation to the first 250 people who show up at 8 pm ET. A Treehouse Live event will be livestreamed a half hour after the store’s pre-orders begin, and is expected to provide an in-depth look on upcoming Switch games.
