Start your tiny engines!
Micro Machines is finally back and ready to race with a new game coming soon on current-gen consoles. A new trailer has been released which may make you feel a little nostalgic for those tiny little cars.
The trailer shows the tiny motors driving alongside giant scenery and then competing against one another for victory. The trailer doesn’t show any actual gameplay but it certainly gives us an idea of what to expect. Check it out below:
In an announcement, publisher Codemasters wrote: “Micro Machines World Series will retain the manic social game play of the classic series but will bring a new dimension to the experience with stunning HD visuals–taking you to the much-loved household environments as they’ve never been seen before.”
Micro Machines World Series will feature up to four-player splitscreen and 12 players in online matches. Classic game modes such as Race and Elimination will return along with new ones like Battle Mode which will see players destroy each other in order to win.
The game is set to be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the Spring.
