The Nintendo conference has just wrapped, and it would seem there are more games coming out that wasn’t announced. One of them is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which can be spotted briefly during the news conference, but was never touched upon until its trailer came out.
The game will share all of the same characters and tracks that fans have come to known from the Wii U version, but the Switch version will be able to stand out with its own set of new characters. The newer ones shown are Bowser Jr, Dry Bones, King Boo, and the Inkling Girl and Boy from Splatoon.
There will also be new modes included such as Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast, along with new tracks called Urchin Underpass and Battle Stadium. Players will be able to use two items while racing, and fans should look forward to some older items such as Boo, who can steal items from other players, and the feather, which allows you to use a high jump in Battle mode.
The game is set to release on April 28 for the Nintendo Switch, which will see its own release date for March 3 for the price of $299.
