Not long to wait.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be available when the Nintendo Switch launches on March 3, 2017, Nintendo announced at its Nintendo Switch event on Thursday night.
The game received a new trailer showing off weapons, abilities, and a host of new and possibly old characters. A deep, male voice narrated the trailer, saying that Link has no recollection of him and is ready to tell him “what happened 100 years ago.” Check out the new trailer below.
The same voice returns later in the trailer, yelling, “You must save her…my daughter.” The daughter could be referring to Zelda, which would make the man the King of Hyrule. Other Legend of Zelda races look to return with updated styles, such as the Goron, Zora, and Great Fairy races. The trailer also showed off Link riding a horse, shooting ice and explosive arrows, hang gliding, and sailing on a raft.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, 1-2-Switch, Skylanders Imaginators and Just Dance 2017 are the only games confirmed so far as launch titles for the Nintendo Switch.
