One to focus on VR tech.
Rockstar North’s former president Leslie Benzies has launched several new companies, some of which are focused on video games. As The Scotsman reports, Benzies has announced the opening of Royal Circus Games Limited, Starship Group, and Everywhere Game Limited.
Royal Circus Games Limited has since applied to the Intellectual Property Office in order to make its main focus that of developing new video games. It has also trademarked, what is presumably the title of a new game, Time for a New World.
Another company opened by Benzies is called VR-Chitech Limited and, as its name suggests, will focus on VR software, hardware, and peripherals. Each of these new companies have been registered in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Benzies initially left Rockstar in January of last year but it seems his departure was not on good terms. Benzies went on to sue Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, for $150 million.
