Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers – How to Perform a Synchro Attack

Synchro Attack – Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers

Recommended Videos

During your playthrough of Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers you will be introduced to a very powerful ability called a Synchro Attack. This ability, when activated, will allow you to move all your synchronized units again, perform attacks, and will gain +5 Energy. This can allow for your officers to perform some flashy attacks and sweep through a large portion of the enemy forces in one turn. In order for this move to be activated, you must first defeat both regular units and enemy officers until the blue circle gauge at the top middle of your screen fills up. Once this happens it will begin to shine and you will now be able to perform one Synchro Attack whenever you want.

To actually perform the Synchro Attack, select a friendly officer and you should see their movement blocks appear in blue along with some blocks that have circles inside of them. These are the areas where your allies have to stand in to join that Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers’ officer in a Synchro Attack, otherwise, they’ll be left out. You will know what allies will join this ability because blue fire will erupt around their character model. Once you have the desired heroes in place, click the Synchro button underneath Attack and Defend to initiate. You can now move those units once more and have them attack multiple targets on the battlefield. Once the actual synchronization is finished you do not have to keep them in those specified movement squares.

After all your attacks are complete, you’ll be given a large red attack square you can move around a set area of the battlefield. This will be the final and most powerful attack, so try to get either as many units in this or a powerful officer. Once you confirm all the animations will play out and you’ll be taken to a cutscene where all of your units will attack those targets highlighted in the big red square. Mash the X button as fast as possible to fill up the bar so you can get a damage bonus on this final move. The actual bonus will depend on the number of friendly officers involved in your Synchro Attack. The Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers percentages are as followed:

  • 2 Units – 40% Max Bonus Damage
  • 3 Units – 60% Max Bonus Damage
  • 4 Units – 80% Max Bonus Damage
  • 5 Units – 100% Max Bonus Damage

Remember, until you fully initiate your assault you can cancel the Synchro Attack at any time in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers. There’s also no shame in using this ability to take down a troublesome officer, as it typically will kill them in one hit if you have 3 or more units participating. Also, you can actually chain Synchro Attacks, as every unit killed in this move will charge the bar again. This means you can perform one after another if you have enough units on the field to slaughter. Mastering this skill is key to survival in Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers, as it can easily turn entire engagements around in your favor. Just make sure to use it wisely as it can be slow to recharge, depending on the map.
