Keep The Elder Scrolls Online Going

The Elder Scrolls Online hasn’t been a failure in any regard, but it certainly hasn’t made as big a splash as other MMOs like Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In the subsequent months after launch, Bethesda addressed and fixed many of the issues that the game initially had, and has continued to support it with new expansions and updates.

One of the big focuses for the company in 2017 should be providing even more engaging content for fans, and trying to grow the current user base. This especially holds true with World of Warcraft still going strong, and Final Fantasy XIV having a big new expansion on the way. Luckily, The Elder Scrolls Online does have a free-to-play model now, so new users won’t have to worry about paying monthly when jumping onboard.

As fans wait for a new single-player entry in The Elder Scrolls series, the MMO can be a good way to tide them over. With The Elder Scrolls Legends arriving next year as well, Bethesda could make it a big year for its flagship series.
