Super Mario Run: How to Get Toadette as a Playable Character

How to Unlock Toadette as a Playable Character – Super Mario Run

Recommended Videos

While Nintendo’s latest mobile game stars the one and only plumber, Mario himself, players can unlock additional characters from the Mario roster. The most difficult character to unlock and play as happens to be Toadette. Yes, we’re surprised too.

To unlock Toadette as a playable character, you’ll need 200 Red Toads, 200 Blue Toads, and 200 Green Toads — far more currency is needed to get any other character. You can get more Toads by collecting Rally Tickets and using them to participate in Toad Rally matches. In these, you’ll collect coins and pull off cool moves to beat an opponent and earn Toad fans. However, you’ll only unlock Yellow, Purple, Green, and Blue toads by adventuring into additional Super Mario Run worlds. That means you’ll have to venture past the game’s free beginning, and pay $9.99 for the full Super Mario Run title.

Once you’ve collected the 600 Toads needed, head to the Shop and build her house in the Mushroom Kingdom. It’s a pink mushroom with Toadette standing out front – can’t miss it under the Star section.
