Remedy Entertainment’s Head of Communications Thomas Puha today revealed that the studio doesn’t intend to take as long on its next games as it did with Quantum Break.
Replying to a tweet from a fan who suggested that the studio’s work on two titles could mean that Remedy Entertainment’s next titles miss the current generation of consoles, Puha simply responded: “We won’t take five years on the next games.”
Puha then went on to give an idea of what aspects Remedy are looking to improve in their upcoming titles, before revealing the small size of the studio and how this can impact the development process.
Puha then followed this up with another tweet, revealing that the development team of 140 people is currently stretched over two games. According to Puha, this can be a pretty limiting factor when it comes to building worlds and environments for players to explore. Particularly when this small team is stretched over two projects currently.
No details are currently known about what Remedy Entertainment is hard at work on, other than one of the games is known as “P7” due to it being the seventh project from the developer. We’ll be sure to keep you updated as and when more details are revealed. Hopefully, the wait won’t be for too much longer.
