Let’s Pokemon GO to Starbucks
Niantic has just announced their new Pokemon GO Starbucks partnership that will make Starbucks the official place for Pokemon GO fans to congregate. This decision came from Starbucks’ dedication for creating “safe, welcoming locations for people from all walks of life to come together for refreshment and social engagement”. This is something that Pokemon GO has been struggling with since the inception of the app, as many Pokemon GO players have been in dangerous situations while playing.
The Pokemon GO Starbucks partnership “will transform 7,800 company-operated Starbucks stores in the United States into PokéStops and Gyms” while Starbucks will be introducing a special limited edition frappuccino to welcome the new players.
The Starbucks Pokestops and Gyms transformations will be live starting Dec 8 at 11 am PST for US players only.
