2017 is looking interesting.
In an interview with 4Gamer, PlayStation Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida has said that fans can look forward to some “amazing software” being released in 2017 that will take full advantage of Sony’s hardware releases this year – the PS4 Pro, and the PSVR.
The feature in 4Gamer (as translated by DualShockers), which was an end of year interview with various developers, included a segment with Bloodborne Producer Teruyuki Toriyama. He teased that his team at FromSoftware is working on “ambitious titles” as well as ideas for brand new games at the same time.
There wasn’t any specific confirmation in the interview with regard to games, so fans eager to glimpse Bloodborne 2 or a new Souls entry will have to keep their ears out in the coming months.
2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for games. The PS4 is heading into next year with an interesting line-up, with a new God of War, Persona 5, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Not all of these have been confirmed for 2017, but the future for PS4 is looking bright.
