Why do all the best things release in Japan?

According to Pokeshopper, some brand new Pokemon Sun & Moon plushes will be hitting the shelves in Japan just in time for Christmas on Dec. 23.

The plushes include Mimikyu, Bewear, and the Alolan versions of first generation Pokemon Marowak, Raichu and Meowth. There’s no word on whether there will be a physical release of the toys in North America, but pre-orders are being accepted through Pokeshopper’s partner site Sunyshore for $25 each. Mimikyu is an additional $8 for unspecified reasons.

Fans of Generation II can also pre-order some Johto plushes releasing on Dec. 23 including Espeon, Umbreon, Slowking, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile for $25. Like Mimikyu, Slowking is an additional $8.

There will also be smaller Pokedoll plushes released for the Sun & Moon starters, Litten, Rowlet, and Poppilo that are available for pre-order as well for $22, and release on Jan. 22. Along with the starters, Pokedolls for Bewear, Pikachu, Ditto Raichu, Rockruff, and Vulpix will also be released on that date.
