Trico, the bird-cat-dog from Team Ico’s recently released The Last Guardian, has already captured the hearts and minds of many, but PlayStation – alongside some very talented sculptors – has gone to extreme lengths to promote everyone’s favourite feathered side-kick.

PlayStation Nordic traveled to Stockholm and partnered with  Tjåsa Gusfors, a swedish aritst, and Webhallen, a local gaming site, to create an awe-inspiring snow sculpture of Trico, located right in the middle of the city itself.

You can watch the sculpture wondrously come to life in the promo below, which features subtitles for those who don’t speak fluent Swedish.

The sculptured Trico isn’t quite as large as the one found in the game, but Gusfors definitely captures the beauty of his design with her work.

The Last Guardian released last week on the PlayStation 4 to mixed acclaim; we gave the game a 4.5 out of 5, calling it “an unforgettable journey” with an “endlessly touching story.”
