Voices of War Req pack isn’t free
The next update for Halo 5 will feature new maps, forge canvases, and has the option of adding extra announcers for the multiplayer matches.
The game continues to receive regular updates and supports more than a year after its release, and in 343’s latest weekly blog post, the developer has gone into some detail about what to expect from the latest DLC, but did not specify when it would be available – simply stating that it would be “in a matter of days.”
The “Voices of War” Req pack will provide an additional three announcers for Warzone, Arena, and Warzone Firefight. Yabda the merciless, 031 Exuberant Witness, and Spartan Buck are the three new announcers – fingers crossed Nathan Fillion will reprise his role as Buck!
The new announcers will not be free as the rest of the “new features, a massive expansion to Forge, and of course many sweet Reqs” will be. It will cost $10 to download the “Voices of War” Req pack, which will then give players access to all three announcers.
343 signed off by saying, “Make sure you monitor Halo Waypoint this coming Tuesday, Dec. 6 for part one of our two-part blowout of everything you need to know.”
