Final Fantasy XV’s Version 1.03 Update is Out Now, Adds New Game+ and Photo Frames

Final Fantasy XV’s new patch has surprisingly hit today instead of the 22nd as expected. In addition to fixing bugs, version 1.03 adds something that all RPG fans look forward to: New Game+. With this 3.2 GB update, players can carry over certain data and content like weapons, settings,Ascension skills, and costumes from a previous playthrough.

Be noted that it will overwrite your original Final Fantasy XV save, so if there’s some things you’re missing out on, clear those first. In addition, the upgraded Engine Blade and Regalia will go back to their original versions.

The version 1.03 update also adds different themed photo frames for you to choose from after Prompto takes a picture. Go ahead and scroll through them, find the one that fits best, and upload away! If you decide to wait a few days, the Holiday Pack will help your photos be more festive for the occasion.
