Destiny: The Dawning

While there are no doubt many Guardians that have memorized the fastest routes through the treasure trove of strikes offered in Destiny, you will want to be thorough for Strike Scoring. Unless you are doing a timed Nightfall, it’s no use to your Fireteam to just blaze through each room until the boss arrives. Instead, take your time to explore every room and all the enemy spawn points you may encounter. Certain strikes such as The Nexus and Fallen S.A.B.E.R. will have players pass through locations that are not a part of the mission itself.

This means that while they aren’t officially apart of the strike, you can still farm points from the enemies outside. There’s no need to run by them, as they can easily push your score up to the Gold Medal level before you fight the boss. Doing this can alleviate any headaches you may be having and will allow you to finish the new Vanguard Elite Bounties quicker.
