The war continues.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare may have been out for a few weeks now, but it looks like fans are still flocking to the popular shooter as it has managed to return to the top spot in the UK game chart. Despite fierce competition from new releases such as The Last Guardian and Dead Rising 4, Call of Duty has managed to thrive.

Second place belongs to FIFA 17 whilst Battlefield 1 sits in third. Final Fantasy XV is in fourth place and Dead Rising 4 has debuted in fifth, beating The Last Guardian which sits in seventh place. The top 20 are as follows:

  1. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  2. FIFA 17
  3. Battlefield 1
  4. Final Fantasy XV
  5. Dead Rising 4
  6. Watch Dogs 2
  7. The Last Guardian
  8. Pokemon Sun
  9. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
  10. Pokemon Moon
  11. Grand Theft Auto V
  12. Just Dance 2017
  13. Forza Horizon 3
  14. Fallout 4
  15. Rocket League
  16. Minecraft: Xbox Edition
  17. Dishonored 2
  18. Steep
  19. Super Mario Maker
  20. Titanfall 2

There are no major Triple A releases set to come out this week that might seriously shake up the charts but the long awaited mobile game Super Mario Run is set to be released worldwide on Dec. 15. Stardew Valley will also see a release on consoles this week and the fifth and final episode of Telltale’s Batman series is set to be released this week. It remains to be seen if any of these will shake up the charts enough to see Call of Duty lose the top spot.
