Shoot While Driving – Watch Dogs 2
The original Watch Dogs really wanted players to just focus on hacking, so shooting was not part of the deal while driving, much to the dismay of players. That isn’t the case with Watch Dogs 2 though as you’re allowed to shoot while driving to your leisure. True, hacking is often the best way to get an enemy out of the way, but shooting can be fun too, especially if you’re looking for a new type of challenge.
To shoot while driving, you must first pull out a weapon while in a vehicle. To do so, tap up on the d-pad and any compatible weapon will be equipped. To fire, aim using the right thumbstick to look around then tap L1/LB to fire. This replaces your hacking ability, so if you want to go back to being able to mess with the city, press up on the d-pad again to holster your firearm.
Shooting while driving is useful against other players, since they’ll do their best to counter-hack you as you face off against them. You can disable vehicles while saving your Botnet Resources (charge).
