Watch Dogs 2: How to Save Your Game

Save – Watch Dogs 2

Recommended Videos

Watch Dogs 2 is a very big game with lots of missions and activities for players to get lost in as they explore San Francisco and a few other California locales. With the sheer amount of content for you to run through, it’s perfectly reasonable to be concerned about your save data, saving, and the like.

What seems to be a growing trend in games nowadays, though, is that you are not able to save, not manually anyway. Watch Dogs 2 saves on its own after every major objective, collectible, or purchase. You’ll notice the series “fox” logo on the side of your screen appear from time to time, this is to let you know that the game is being saved. A good way to force a save if you’re unsure is to fast travel to any clothing shop and just change an article of clothing (you don’t have to buy anything new). Since fashion is of the utmost importance in Watch Dogs 2, this will save your game so you’re wearing your preferred outfit the next time you log in.

Do note that during large missions, the game only saves between each sub mission. So, until you see it say mission complete at the top of your screen, letting you know you completed the sub missions’s objective, don’t go quitting out or else it won’t save.
